The Smokehouse Brass Band specializes in New Orleans-style jazz and second line. The band is comprised of a powerhouse mix of saxes, trumpet, trombone, sousaphone - that's right, sousaphone - drums, banjo/guitar, cowbell, whistle, tambourine, etc. We perform a unique blend of toe-tappin', window-rattlin', hanky-wavin', high energy good-time dance music that will put a smile on your face and pep in your step.

With Grammy-nominated producer John Custer at the helm of the project, You Make Me Feel, by Bull City Syndicate, is the most ambitious recording by a Raleigh/Durham-based band in a generation.
Bull City Syndicate will celebrate the release of You Make Me Feel with two CD Release Parties at Oliver Twist Tapas Restaurant & Lounge, on August 10th and 11th. The cover charge is $5, or $10 will also include a copy of the CD. Shows each night will go from 9:30pm to 1:30am.
