Formed in 1996 in Worthing, West Sussex, Smoking Band (then the Swamp Donkeez) played in the blossoming Worthing live scene...
...before Worthing Borough Council discovered that there’s more money in a block of flats than a Grade II listed public house (ooh, sorry, but anyone remember the Wine Lodge/Litten Tree, Wig and Pen, Rivoli, Carioca...?)
With a combined live playing experience of over 36 years’ in this band alone (around 60 years’ combined live playing experience total), a back catalogue of over 100 rock classics ranging from the Sixties’ to the Naughties’, plus a full set of well-crafted original tunes, power-rock trio Smoking Band are available for private and corporate functions with a heavier edge, as well as the good ol’ Friday and Saturday night out at your local boozer.

Smoking Band members Adz, Nige and Don continue to play their instruments as much as is physically possible, despite gainful employment occaisionally biting unaware band members on the arse inbetween gigs.
