Growing up in South Carolina and Oklahoma, we learned at a young age to appreciate the beauty and cuisine of the South. After meeting in college in South Carolina and eventually marrying there, we spent the next several years traveling all over the Carolina low country before making Washington our permanent home. Combining the traditional cooking methods we learned during our exploration of the South and a few favorite family recipes, we proudly share with you a barbecue experience rich in history.
