Wow, I am certainly on a different cloud! My son finally came home from Iraq. It is such a relief to have him back home again. I would like to thank Tammy and Cindi for coming out to represent our chapter and to welcome these young men home. I also want to give a big THANK YOU to Duane and the ETPR (not to be confused with pgr) for accepting the mission of escorting and welcoming home these marines. Thank you all for your support.

Hey everyone - Just had to let you know how happy I am. I got to chat with Jared and see him on webcam. It wasn't a long conversation cuz it was late for him and he was getting ready to go to bed. I'm glad I got to see him. Sometimes I really like modern technology.

Hello to my fellow blue star mothers. I hope all of you are doing well and looking forward to our upcoming events and meeting. I would like to encourage all of you to become more involved in our chapter. I know that it can be difficult with work, family, etc. but I feel that we are lacking in participation. It may just be me, but I would really like to get more feedback from all of you as to things going on with our chapter. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I am wrong in these feelings. I also would like to encourage each of you to visit our freeweb site and create your profile for all to see. If you don't have a picture, don't worry about that. We will have pictures that can be posted soon. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our next meeting.

I want to say a big thank you to all the mothers for all your input at our meeting. I also want to say a special thank you to Aaron for giving his speech. I especially want to say thank you to all of the military sons and daughters who came to our meeting and were willing to give their input as well. I am so proud of all of these brave young people for giving their all to the service and our country. Thank you also to Wanda for all the hard work put into the "denim day" with Belks. I get excited with each monthly meeting. We always seem to have such great ideas for future fund raising and community events.

Hi all, We had a really good and productive meeting this month. I would like to welcome our three new members - Sheri, Wanda, and Jodye. Hi all, It's almost time for our monthly meeting. I have to apologize though. We are not going to have our guest speaker this time due to a family illness. Maybe we can re-schedule for next month. Hi all, I agree with Tammy - last night's meeting was really good. I had a wonderful time and feel like we are getting closer and closer to needing a larger meeting place. I would like to say a big welcome to our newest member - Michelle. I have news for all of you - We will have a guest speaker at our next meeting.
