Smolny ( Jaroslaw Smolny ) was born in Lodz - a huge city in central Poland. At the beginning he was fascinated with rave and drum and bass in the nineties. In the following years he started to buy his first vinyl records and cooperation with fellow recordstore, Skylark Records which lead to residency in local club, Soda Bar, where he was exploring the area of house music and promoting parties.
Three years ago he tried his first attempts into producing music, and now he dedicates all of his free time into exploring and producing his own music, inspired by techno and house. He shares his experiences with his producer friends SLG and Marek Kubiak. Every month he plays in local techno club OIOM.
Soon he is going to publish a remix that won the contest organized by FOEM for the best remix of Audio Soul Project's "Circle In My Mind". His debut 12" EP will be published by the German label Circle Music.
