I am a Producer, Engineer, Songwriter, and Piano Player. I live in Warren County NJ. I have been in the music business for as long as I can remember. I started out playing drums. My father was a musician so band rehearsals and gigs became a part of my life at 10 years old. With my dads connections I started hanging out in recording studios at 15. By 17 I had my first album engineering credit on a Misfits record called "Christ The Conqueror". From there I bounced into Secret Lovers which then became After Alice. This began my long running relationship with Alice Leon. Alice should be the poster child for how to get everything out of the music business without a label. We were signed together, toured, national TV, countless records and still write and record to this day.
In between all of that I still did many sessions, toured with The Fins, and sang on their second record "Superstar". At this point I formed Second Left with Mike Galesi. Our first record "Fruitful Abyss" reached ..25 on the top 200 in the country. The second record we teamed up with 2 time Grammy winner Jon Rolo for "It's About Time".
Currently I am partnered with producer, songwriter, engineer Steve Marinaccio of Green Chapel Studios. Steve's client list reads like the who's who of the music world and I am really excited about this team. The new company appropriately name Maranetti Productions has already started out with a bang. From the biggest production of a record, to the simplest demo. There isn't much Steve and I can't handle and we are open for business.
No prob. I just saw Steve last night and told him that I quit the night service position, because I feel like it's getting in the way of recording... and making me exhausted at the same time. So i'm looking for someone to fill the whole position so that I can be available to record monday-thurs any time after 5pm and friday after 6pm... this opens up a lot more time in the studio for you guys I think as well. =) have fun with the fam and have a happy Bunny Day!
