Smoov Sauzë, ex-journalist in the now defunct:"Da Niouz" (French Hip-Hop/R&B Magazine) is a young artist with French Guyana origins. He grew up with members of the Parisian Hip Hop scene, who encouraged him to find his own musical colour influenced by Prince, Michael Jackson, Massive Attack, Isaac Hayes or Henri Salvador (the french Sinatra and creator of the Bossa Nova)

In 1995, Smoov Sauzë meets the conceptor of a RnB group, « En III Actes ». This group is inspired by artists such Jodeci, Playa. At this time he was not Smoov Sauzë but Mike G. This collaboration brought them on prestigious stages, such as the New Morning, Espace Wagram, and Divan du Monde. A reprise of the song Chère Amie of Marc Lavoine, allowed them to be in the record company Heben released by Scorpio Music in April 2000.

Then he felt the need to dig his own way. He decided to produce himself his 1st « maxi vinyl » "l Alchimiste" (an homage to the novel of Paulo Coelho, with DJ Leksa and Balky who encouraged him to start a solo career.
This 1st record (October 2001) gave him the opportunity to be on stage in several towns in France, and also to have a lot of contacts in the Parisian music business.
"Mélody", an extract of the compilation Influence RnB (June 2003), has been on the track list of a prestigious Hip Hop and RnB radio: Générations 88.2.
The compilation: "Alliance" (June 2004) allowed him to be known with his new name Smoov Sauzë.
He has choosing this name because of his smooth voice and his statut of the man behind the shadows, inspire of « Usual Suspect », like to never forget that you must not under-evaluate a person, as a little indie can be the boss of tomorrow, and a disabled can also be « Kayser Sosa ».
More and more requested by several producers, he participated in November 2004 to the compilation "Soul Food Session" with his song Silhouette Mélanine

After a long time of instrospection, Smoov Sauzë present at last his first album: "Musico-Sapiens" (16 Tracks).
Respected as a songwriter, Smoov' Sauzë is strongly impregnated by a Soul dimension, with a artistic direction strictly Hip-Hop.
This album is design by Wicked.P & Jethro Bare (Assassin), Viktor Stone aka Djybreel, Sonny Black (Corneille, Shy'M), Oz (Rony), Mac Phive (Do Me Right), Gabystyl (Jango Jack), Chris Purmah (ex-Hitmakers), Dalgren (Pookie), Mauricio Santana (Or2Koz) and Ewone (Sefyu, 88.2)...
