  • Bio

Formed by a fusion of fate and experimental new cells Mr. Michael Smith is in his 28th year of full function and compatibility. Being the fifth child of hard working parents with old world values has had an enormous impact on shaping the man that still too few people know. A serious child with an on again off again passion for study and decent grades; Michael did well in school but was disallusioned by the social melodrama that is the public education system. Music saved him the trouble of trying to fit in. He took to the drums early on and was lured into the marching drumline by the other socially unacceptable kids who were gifted. This activity ingrained in Michael a love of percussion and eventually led to his discovery of the piano as the vehicle for his musical expression. Never one to settle for conventional means Michael worked for years to break through his own musical preconceptions and acheive a sound that the world has never heard before. "These days it's all about writing" he says."I'm trying to find a way to say everything that is meaningfull to me without compromising my own taste or the musicianship required for me to take myself seriously". With a sound that has it's roots in old world folk and classical and covers much ground on it's way through classic rock, the psychedelic movement, low down funk and beyond, Smith is ever on the cusp of breaking new ground-in fact, he lives for it. Much More To Come..........

look out for my debut album release in early 2010, music video, merch and much more. i have also changed my musician name from '<3, but more than anything' to more of a solo feel as Braison Scott. :)

but most importantly, i'd love to hear about your summer moments. everything i do is based around the drive to inspire others. i'm asking for you to inspire me. =)
