Neil Peart is the biggest influence on me because his drumming style and technique is truly amazing, and he is the greatest drummer of all time.And also Rick Allen from Def Leppard because he has one arm and is still a decent drummer.

| About Smudge - NEED GIGS! |
We started out early 2007, Me and Cris decided that we'd get a band together that was made up of dedicated, talented individuals who would put their life and soul into all the songs we wrote, everything and anything we stood for or against and the gigs we played. We needed to look no further than our GCSE music class and found almost everyone we needed, minus a bassist.
At school we have around 3 bassists, one of which had'nt been in a band and had the same capabilities as the others and we thought we'd try him out and now he's stuck with us. You might not like our style, lyrics or music but hey...if we touch just one person, thats enough for us.
recently, Lindsey departed our dedicated few. Due to a...minor descrepancy, he 'left' the band and we needed a replacement. We weren't really looking too hard as Cris wanted to try something solo but, in the end, we decided 5 was a lucky number and chose Liam, our friend who has stayed with us, 100% loyally, since.
