Snake Island is an original style drum group that has been together since 1997, with a core group that previously sang with the Otonabee singers in the 1980's and early 90's. The group is comprised of Anishnaabeg and Oneida who enjoy singing all styles of song, oldschool, contemp and even sometimes southern depending on what is appropriate. The Snake Island singers are from several different reserves within Southern Ontario; Cape Croker (Neyaashingaming), Sarnia (Aamjiwnaang), Rama (Mnjikaning), Walpole Island (Bkwejwanong), Alderville FN, and Oneida FN. ........ ....Myspace Layouts.. at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ..The wall....
