| About Snappahead |
 By debbyces at 2008-07-14
Snappahead has been rocking the tri-state area for the past 5 years. Started from the remains of popular area band Slackjaw, founding members Steve "Budgie" Werner ( Ace Frehley, Blacklace, Mountain) and Anthony Fragnito (Blacklace, Damn Cheetah), along with guitarist Damon La Scott ( Redbelly, Meatloaf) decided they were going to form a kickass rock and roll band that they would love to go hear and see themselves. Enlisting good friend and ex Rock Alley singer Doug Palmer, Snappahead was born.
Snappahead began getting their set list together, playing the best hard rock and heavy metal from the classic seventies to the present day. Snappahead quickly began amassing quite a true and loyal following. Known for their good time "Hold 'Em Up High" party vibe and impeccable musicianship, it seemed Snappahead was on a roll (no pun intended...ha ha).
After two years, guitarist Damon La Scott and Snappahead decided to part ways. Left with no guitar player, Snappahead had to think quickly. They enlisted Anthony's high school buddy and good friend Mike Miranda (Jingo, Mirrors Image). Snappahead had now found their missing link. With Mike's red hot guitar playing, they were now better and stronger than ever.
Hard to believe it has already been three years with this line up. With the band's 5 year anniversary coming up, Snappahead has been busy writing and recording their original songs. They intend to release an ep cd to their fans in the upcoming year.
We would love to hear from you, so please visit our website at www.snappahead.com!! PS: Much love and thanks to all of our great fans!! Its been a blast the last five years, and here's to five more!! "Hold 'Em Up High!!"
Peace and Love, Snappahead
