When the need for technology is rampant, the choice of tools is vast. sndsukinspook plays the landscape and the urban environment alike – metal bridges and wooden floors, wisps of water clapotis and wind pipes… It started with rattling the railings and the next thing you know you are drumming public benches. An offence well worth the penalty of eternal silence. Confined in the motifs of muffled footsteps and veiled hushes. absence of thoughts. field recordings of emptiness. architecture of sound sculptures. to reveal the harmonic imprints of sacred spaces. for all of those corruptly filed in the forgotten folds of consumed phat. Lurking in the dark spaces of acous-mania, sndsukinspook forges vibrations, sculpts the harmonies that will rattle the nerves of academia. Some people scream. Some bleed to death. Disruption is everywhere. In the safe place of the sitting room, in the near inane, in the religious amnesia, in the lull of beta sofa and tv procurantism... Economia verbalis... Hypocritia interestus... Rationalitat Maladicus... Frmir le silence. Every wall has a crack. Find the wave length... .. ~.. .. sndsukinspook.. performs spontaneous compositions with a laptop, using processed field recordings. He has developed a very personal way to process and sculpt recordings to reveal their musical features and maximise resonance with the listener and their experience of sound... .. sndsukinspook started making noise with a guitar in the punk years and is now exploring the extended techniques and physicality of the soprano saxophone. His digital work spans sound design, sound recording and editing, post-production, mastering and composition, sound art and installation as well as performance which remains his main focus... .. Greatly interested in collaboration, sndsukinspook has played with musicians and dancers whose practice is immersed in free improvisation, closely working with mick beck (sax, bassoon), martin archer (winds, violin, electronics), anders cox (double bass) neil carver (guitar, objects and toys), charlie collins (vibraphone, drums and percussions) etc. in the uk and also heddy boubaker (alto and bass sax), sebastien cirotteau (trumpet, electronics), rmi brassi (guitar), david lataillade (guitar), cia barbet (dance), vincent cazeneuse (soprano and barytone sax), guy bayssac (drums), henri herteman (piano, trombone) etc. in france... ..~.. .. ~.... if you are interested in my music, want to book a performance or just want to contact me, please send a message via myspace or my website/email address ....~.. .. ~.... -
