Sneaker Pimps were a trip-hop trio formed in Reading, England in 1995. Borrowing from their influences, they persued a trancelike but edgy sound. Chris Corner and Liam Howe were writing all the songs and producing the records. The 2 band leaders have been playing in bands since the early 90's. They got their name from an article the Beastie Boys published in their Grand Royal magazine. In 1998 Kelli Dayton left the group and started her own projects and Cris Corner took over the vocals, their was also more members added to the group.
