True that. Avian slow core. :D Sneaky flutes and birds of a feather, especially ostriches, go together. (Not the bird “flew” or worse, bird flu. :D) Hmmm, maybe it’s time for some “sneaky lute” music? After all, the lute was the precursor to the guitar. :D Swirlies cover album? SHWEEEEEETTTTTTT!!!!! Gonna look into that!!!! (o:

Smoking in caves can cause suffocation. So I don't like to risk it. Could a sneaky flute be used as a smoking device? Maybe the "smoking" members of the band have an idea what it'd be like. Probably just the same mild unnecessary buzz. Just get drunk instead.

i asked a gas attendant in Idaho, "how far to 'butt', montana?"
"oh you mean, 'beyute'."
i blushed, kinda.

well at least i didn't say "butty".

yo, if i knew this was gonna take forever to come out i would have worked on the songs a lot more carefully.
"her life..." is pretty cool though.

never rush again.

the main reason i have no new songs.
i've out grown my resources.
every riff turns into 20... i want to have the space to explore and to see how that goes.
meaning i need a better computer.
i have basically everything else.

arrgh.

i should just go back to tape on tape on tape on tape....

How come you guys never come out to see any Norwegian bands?
Did Mew force you into some type of exclusivity agreement?
Just curious.

I'm getting awfully impatient with the severe lack of album releases as of the last SEVERAL years. C'mon already. Let's get that shit rollin'

I was coming here to give you a piece of my mind about the lack of releases since 2003! but then you gave me a strop and some live videos so it was cool. but then at the beginning of the video you mention a free CD and free poster so I'm gonna just hafta chew on this a bit. we may need to talk.

Thank you so much for "bandfriending" us, Swirlies! We truly appreciate it.

We hope that you find something of ours that will wriggle into your ears, burrow down next to your heart (in a good way), and compel you to ROB US BLIND (again, in a good way: "Free downloads, ahoy!”…that is, if Myspace ever gets around to reactivating that feature).

If you like us, please, tell a friend.

If you hate us, hell, tell an enemy!

Be well,
GUSSY
