Ok, I first got into breaks about 6 years ago when I did a work experience placement at Finger Lickin Records and have been hooked ever since. It was the Finger Lickin influence (mainly the free records I got!) and going to breaks nights, in particular Technique in Leeds & Spectrum in Nottingham, that inspired me to start writing breaks.
My first release was a remix for a Leeds based indie/rock band back in April 2006. Since then I’ve gone on to release 7 tracks & 3 remixes, on my label, Edit records. As well as releasing tracks through Edit, i've also done remixes for other labels including i Breaks and Sound of Spectrum. More recently I've had one of my tracks signed to Dead Famous records which will be coming out this September.
As well as being a producer I also DJ breaks. Like the tracks I write my DJ sets focus around the dark, funky, techy side of breaks.
