Prior to his conversion in 1972, Steve Snider was the leader of a local Rock-n-Roll band, and his life was troubled by many of the elements of sin that are destroying America’s youth today. He has been active in the ministry since his conversion and working in full-time ministry since 1974. He has evangelized for nine years and pastored for twenty-five years.
Steve is a graduate of North Georgia Tech and Beulah Heights Bible College and is currently working on a Master’s Degree with Southwestern Christian University, in Oklahoma City, OK. He is a singer, musician, songwriter, author, and preacher of the Gospel. Along with his wife, Robin, daughter, Leah, and son, Jared, (who are now a vital part of the music ministry), Steve has traveled extensively preaching campmeetings, youth camps, revivals, seminars, Christian supper clubs, city-wide crusades, sportsman’s banquets, radio and television programs and many other various Christian functions.
For ten years, Steve and Robin served as one of the hosts of Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Praise the Lord – Atlanta” show, a local two-hour live program broadcast twice weekly from TBN’s Atlanta studio. They have released five recordings, “I’m On My Way” and “Quiet Time” on cassette, as well as “Testify”, “Everything I Need” and “Light of the World” on compact disc. Steve shares his miraculous testimony of deliverance and salvation through God’s supernatural power in a book, This is What Happened to Me.
Steve pioneered and pastored Family Life Assembly of God, a thriving Metro-Atlanta church that experienced steady growth and a great outpouring of God’s blessings for fourteen years. Family Life had a weekly television program called “Celebration of Life”, which went into some two million homes.
In addition to the evangelistic schedule, Steve and his family have pioneered a new church in Conyers, GA. Believer’s Fellowship Assembly of God has experienced great blessings and growth in its short five-year existence. Its second building program is now complete. Along with his pastoral duties, Steve serves as Public Relations Director for Refuge Pregnancy Center, in Conyers, GA, and in the capacity of Men’s Ministries Director for the Georgia District Assemblies of God. ______________________________________________________
