Born and raised in N.E washington dc lyman place was the street that raised yung snipe. Real name Stephen terrel Hooper. He was always raised around music all his life. Father was lead mic for a band, and his mother was a inspiring song writer. At the age of 11 stephen (snipe) broadcasted his talent for the first time at his middle school talent show. He was the only one in the talent show that wrote and performed his own song. He started recording at the age of 13 in his studio his father helped built in the bacement of his house. Not only is Snipe a recording artist, he is also a producer and his own engineer and ceo of his own record label called SWAGGA ENT. When he first entered high school his buzz started. He got his name from a current group he was in known by Reign Mafia. They gave him the name you all know him az (YUNGSNIPE). A artist that go by the name of GXdaGOD who mentoured snipe in certain areas of the music industry and help inspired him to make the hit records that he make today. From freestyling in hallways, dropping mixtapes, and perfoming at school events his name in the streets got bigger and he started to get noticed more. At the age of 18 is when yung snipe droped his first debut solo mixtape called the most antisipated vol 1. He sold over 1,000 copies in the first two weeks of hand to hand out the trunk selling. He is now 19 and still keeping his name in the streets.
