Already having major signings from terrain records, earwax just to name a few. S.N.O’s music has been took world wide buy many a dj and had big time air play on stations such as bbc 1Xtra, Radio 1, London’s Finest 100.4 Rinse Fm and many more. Any questions?? Just sit back let the music talk and all your questions will be answered.
Another shocking transmission from Boka, this time round pitting two of the scene's heaviest operators for a bassy soundclash its almost too close to call. SNO's "25 Stone" makes its intentions clear from the off - giving Matty G's 50,000 Watts a run for its money in the heavyweight stakes. It really is all about the bass, and the weight of it is frightening on this shocking cut - sick stuff. Marlow's "Tremor" on the flipside keeps it dubwise with a more full-bodied approach, a skanking intro teasing you ever so slowly through to the inevitable drop, and when it comes its accompanied by the kind of synth-driven arpeggio melody that would make John Carpenter proud. A tough one to call, but we say SNO just about has it, on points. Large.
"Earwax is a new dubstep imprint presented by Bristol's' DJ Pinch and is set to feature some of the biggest dubplate rhythms drawn from his bag. Kickstarting the label into action is the awesome 12" produced by Manchester's rising talent, S.N.O. 'Disturbance' is a huge tune that drops with such an impact bassline, it always calls to be pulled up and run again. Fans of Coki (Digital Mystikz), Skream and Mark One will go wild over this one. Flip then for 'Back Yard Dub' and its lazy Sunday afternoon vibrations: dubbed out, melodic and charged with massive sub bass pressure. Highly recommended. Support from Pinch, The Plastician, Distance, Skream, Loefah, Mark One, N-type and many more."
Back with a bang for the next Boka release is Manchester’s SNO. One of the dubstep scenes heaviest warriors, this EP shows SNO’s full range of styles. First up is ‘Can’t Touch Dis’, a track getting battered at every Dubstep rave from London to Nova Scotia. On the flip is ‘Urb’, a track on a future reggae flex. N F.E.A.R ARGH!
