I read in ACM (I believe) last month that some of the most exciting advances in technology were preceded by advances in user interfaces. The mouse and GUI ushered the personal computer in. HTML make the web. I don't care what you think about Microsoft - this is exciting.

"What's this about the whatnow?" is something of a mantra for me - I've got a rabid curiosity about almost everything. There's so much out there I'd like to learn about and experience.
I've got five e-mail addresses, three phone numbers, one great website, infinitel00p.com, and now this MySpace thing going on. Yes, I like to be connected.
I'd like to travel the world and eat strange new foods with strange new people. Hear music that isn't played on the radio, take a trip to the moon, explore an underground bunker, SCUBA dive with sharks, and fly an A-10. If people ask questions like what's the best place on earth?, I'd like to go there and see if they're right. Same with the worst. I'd like to be a better speller. I sometimes forget how to type if I'm away from a keyboard for a while. I think XML gets a bad rap.
I love to tear things apart - intellectually, physically, or metaphorically - to really understand them. That's probably why I'm an INFOSEC nut. You've got to get to the nuts-and-bolts before you really know about something.
Who I'd like to meet:
This is a trick question. There's no one I wouldn't like to meet, so describing who I would is really just a matter of degrees from the whole, right?
But that's not a real answer. So, I like people that have opinions that they can back up with facts and intelligence - the Al Frankens and Anne Coulters of the world need not apply. People who aren't afraid of technology or trying new things. Sense of humor with a pinch of sarcasm is plus...
Things are going fairly well - this baby is loud. A dog can't get no sleep. Just when you're about to shave your head, climb up a water tower and gun down random strangers, she burps..then goes into REM sleep.
If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that!
