Snowman fc are one of Ireland's most exciting new bands blending beautiful music with a vibrant and unique live show. Snowman hail from Cork and the band is made up of Shane Clancy (lead vocals), James Breen (guitar & vocals), Craig Cullen (Drums and vocals) and Keith Clancy (bass & vocals). Snowman fc’s live shows have been described as manic orgies of fun filled mayhem, while their music as mixture of melodic-art rock, funk, pop and one or two stoned psycho gypsy riffs. Snowman's sound is very eclectic thanks to the many different influences that drive the members of the band.
The last year has been a very successful year for Snowman fc seeing them crowned ‘Irelands Best Unsigned Band’ by winning the JD Sets for Ireland. Through this they have recorded their debut single Butterfly (due for release Spetember 2008) and were invited to record in Nashville Tennessee with R.E.M producer David Barbe and to play at the world renowned Jack Daniels Legendary Mash event. The trip was a success seeing capturing the imaginations and music loving crowds. Through the event Snowman fc got featured in the June edition of Rolling stone magazine, among other media groups in print and on screen. 2008 has also seen them invited to play Irelands coveted I.M.R.O showcase tour, highlighting Irelands best up and coming music.
