Glass Mirror… (“A Reflection of YOU”)
I looked at my face with in the Glass Mirror
an seen a (Reflection of You).
You told me Beauty Lies in the Eyes of the Beholder
and I’m the Apple in your Eye, never give the ones
I truly love the cold shoulder often carried hurt,
harm, and danger of mountainous of boulders.
I shifted like the wind only to pretend
I wasn’t listening to my peers that influenced me
sending subliminal messages to (“Young and the Reckless”),
driving me senseless of their American Idol figures one
day soon to disintegrate in ashes of the Earth He created.
You told me to be an imitator of You in whatever I do
In your Honor being loving to all kinds.
A Reflection on You… I’m looking at the Woman in the Mirror
That once was a child a very furious but yet curious
Of unfamiliar surroundings only to find rest in
Your Holy Essence! Resting in a reflection of You in your
Omnipotent Presence.
