Luke Lukas is back with an album full of that gleeful gloom that made us love him at first sight. His trustworthy 4-tracks and him go their separate ways so he's now presenting 12 perfectly arranged folk songs to us. Luke reveals himself as a kind soul, but like the western movies taught us, a dreadful killer always hides under every placid looking Texan.

Frogwomen’s last album is just water under the bridge and only the disrespectful de large could encourage him to create a new one… it is a one-song record which symbolically lasts 66. 6 minutes. Satan worshipping, an overused topic in pop music is just the straw that allowed the struggle between the two artists to begin: a patchwork of microsongs in which each one of them tries to annihilate the other’s style, a record that ranges between love ditties, doom-noise cants, and irreverent & wild tarantellas (ehm.... maybe i’m overstating now). .
you should just come north and play the party we're throwing for the golden boys and the black up here in pdx...don't you just wanna jump in the van and come see some crappy weather for a day? it's so atmospheric, nocturnal stormy portland! anyways, we all need another fix of haunted george up here, pronto!
