I love tear jerkers and horror films. Beaches is my all time favorite movie... followed by Stepmom, Where the Heart Is, Anywhere But Here, Dead Man Walking, Dirty Dancing, all Halloween movies, The Shining, Shawshank Redemption..... I could go on and on and on.
Television
So I'm a sucker for reality tv.... Guilty Pleasure!!!

Not a huge book person. But if I had to recommend a book, it would most definitely be Fearless Living by Rhonda Britten. Changed my life :)

2 years ago I stood in front of two incredibly powerful women, Rhonda Britten & Iyanla Vanzant, as they both asked me "WHO ARE YOU???"... To my surprise, I couldn't answer their question. I didn't know who I was. I had spent 24 years of my life so concerned about meeting what I thought everyone elses expectations of me were. Talk about exhausting. For the past two years, I have been on a journey of self discovery and it has been an amazing one at that. I've discovered ME, who I really am, and I'll admit that at times I struggle to show the world the real Jaclyn, but I've become a POWERFUL & AWARE woman, and for that I have gratitude. Gratitude towards miss Rhonda Britten and Iyanla Vanzant for helping me remove the MASK that kept the world from knowing ME, and ME from knowing the world. So, that being said...

I love the smell of an early morning... the sight of city lights at night... my daughters dimply bottom and toothless grin... office gossip... late night cookies and milk w/ my hubby... eating out with the whole family... poker nights with friends... karaoke on a saturday night... birthdays - and not just mine... two-stepping to a good george straight song... brooklyn's bath time... laying in bed with my baby girl and hubby sunday mornings... college basketball - march madness baby!... feeling sore after a workout... mani's & pedi's with girlfriends... walks in the evening... thanksgiving... shopping with the family day after thanksgiving... sending and receiving "snail mail"... fearless friends... wearing michael's big tshirts to bed... waking up in the middle of the night with michael's body wrapped around mine... working under pressure... peanut butter and chocolate ice cream cones from baskin robins... spontanaeity... laughing so hard i can't breathe... saying i love you...

Hey Girl, I know...I read on your blog that you aren't finding out the sex of the baby...too crazy!!! Good for you guys! But I bet the anticipation is KILLING YOU!! And yes, Jackson is getting SO BIG! I can't believe he is going to be 5 months old on Wednesday and has already been wearing 12 month clothes! I guess my boobies are making "super milk" or something! Hello gorgeous! I just wanted to tell you that the Elephant polka dot line from Gymboree isn't on their website anymore so you'd have to find it on ebay or something like that...sorry momma! It was soooo good to see you, I hadn't even realized how long it has been because I see your smiling face everyday, right here on the world wide web. :) I love you my beautiful niece. You used to show off cartwheels and then you were suddenly wearing eyeliner, and then you were driving and now you are a mommy and a wife! All of these things have shocked me one by one...I can't wait to see what you will surprise me with next. I love you Jaclyn!
