About me: SOAR is a conference sponsored by the Student Ministry Division of the Department of Church Ministries under the direction the leadership of the Department of Church Resources of the Baptist Missionary Association of America!
The conference begin in the summer of 1991 from a vision birthed in the heart of Bobby Tucker and Donny Parrish. The conference grew over the next 15 years to what it is today! A conference where over 2500 students and student pastor's attend from churches all over the BMAA!
Under the leadershp of Scott Attebery the conference continued to grow, and now under the leadership of Steven Carroll and an amazing team of Student Pastor's the conference continues to exist to evangelize, equip, encourage, and empower students with the message of Jesus Christ and God's Word! The conference promotes a different theme each year based on 5 rotating principle themes. The themes are Worship, Evangelism, Missions, Discipleship, and Fellowship.
SOAR has seen 1000's of students come to Christ as well as surrender to missions, ministry, and making Christ the Lord of thier lives! We would love to hear your stories about SOAR's Past and Present in the comment section of our MySpace!

Thanks Soar, This years conference was awesome, it was a privilege to play that little stage. Keep rocking it for Jesus. Soar was the best. I just want to say thank u. U got me and my youth group to relaize God purpose in our school. I just have a feelin that my youth group will do unbelieveable thing in my school, town, and community.
