OFFICIAL "Maybe Not This Time" ..
In 2001 SOBERPILL was born. Thrust into an area where Southern Rock ruled, and New Metal was lacking, to say the least. They had to figure out a way to do what they wanted, but get everyone to listen to it in the process. Let’s just say the Odds were NOT in their favor. The only way to pull this off was to play anywhere, anytime, for just about anything. (Almost anything)
As a 3 piece, SOBERPILL has a Sound that is Mind Boggling. After every show the guys are mobbed by people wanting to know how they get that "Sound". "We tell them it’s all Pre-Recorded"! All joking aside, SOBERPILL works as hard on their sound as they do on playing their songs. After all why play a good song when you sound like Crap doing it?
As for their Originals, SOBERPILL'S work ethic is a very simple one. They don’t try to write a Number One hit, nor do they worry about what someone might think of a certain riff. The writing reflects what they're feeling at the time. That's it! If it happens to be a balled, or an in your Face, Kick ASS Tune, it all comes down to emotion.
SOBERPILL isn’t just an “Original” band either. While they add their touch to every song played, their set consists of a wide variety of covers as well. Playing everything from Stevie Wonder, Jimmi Hendrix, Incubus, Alman Brothers, Queen, Tom Petty, The Beatles, and even Tool is what make this band a quick crowd favorite! To Mix it up, and give the crowd a sense of excitement is what makes a SOBERPILL show worth seeing
SOBERPILL has been fortunate to have made many GREAT Friends, as well as Contacts from as far away as Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, and Los Angeles, CA. Not forgetting All the Friends, and Family in Pennsylvania, WEST VIRGINIA, and Ohio!
While SOBERPILL has been Pounding the pavement for 4 years, they thank ALL the Fans for keeping them in DEMAND. Currently you can hear SOBERPILL on 100.1 FM WCLG. They are played in regular rotation and have received many requests because of their Fans. This along with going all the way to 11 on the Alternative Top 40 @ Mp3.Com, and Maintaining a Successful Web site, has helped as well. Recently Aaron was interviewed by “Music Korner Magazine” about the new CD entitled “Stand UP” which has already been receiving Great Reviews . But in the end, without the FANS there is NO SOBERPILL!
Now you have Read the Biography of SOBERPILL. It’s Time to experience the sound that is SOBERPILL!
