I hear you with that. I am starting to take Thai and JJ classes, and so far I am really liking it. Maybe we could get up and you could help me out on some techniques and other holes I have in my striking. When do you leave for Thailand?

as far as muay thai, unfortunately my school (gracie barra columbia)'s muay thai instructor had to leave, so as far as striking im learning MMA, but i miss the muay thai specific training cause i love kicks. my boxing is so shitty, but school is done in a week and a half and im going to spend as much of my free time as i can at the USC gym working on the heavy bag.
BJJ is going great though, i got my first stripe a few weeks ago after 3 months of training. all the basic movements and responses that used to be so confusing when i started come to me pretty naturally now. im ready for summer to start so i can train 4-5 days a week instead of 2 or 3. there was a tournament down here that i was going to enter but one of my final exams is on the same day at the same time. daniel lachlan i believe is going to be coming down and competing in it though.
hows muay thai training going? a friend of mine is doing a san shou/mua thai thing in charlotte this weekend i believe....know anything about it?
