I read a lot Nietzsche, Miguel Serrano, Anton LaVey, Deepak Chopra, Carl Jung, Hermann Hesse, Mikao Usui, Vicente Huidobro, Pablo Neruda , Garcia Lorca, Stephen Hawking, Easton Ellis, etc .
I have always been interested in communications, art and music.
Middle son of a couple of musicians I live my childhood between MD..s,
paint and drawing classes, and any geeky science club available on a military
regime city.
I have performed in many music expressions such as punk bands, operas
and chilean traditional groups, back in the 80..s I was part of the punk
rock pioneers Aborto Con
Sopapo, also of the eletro hippies Liebermen
has Jumped, even though I think I found my real way with E-men, my own
project.
At the end of the 80's with Cristian Muñoz and Claudio Gutierrez we did
one of the first college radios in Chile at the 94.5 FM, Radio Universidad
de Santiago. One of the big collaborators was PDMA..s Claudio Parra. Radio
Show that is still alive with Pablo Medel, on saturday afternoons.
From 1989 to 1991 I was DJ and VJ (the first one in Chile) for the Spandex
parties, working with DJ..s like Mauricio Terrazas, Alfred Mora and Marcos
Pizarro, plus having the wonderful chance of working with Daniel palma and
Andres Perez.
During 1995-1996 I did video recording for most of local acts that performed
at Background, a cool record store/club that gathered the local music scene,
doing vids for people like Santos Dumont, Los Mismos, Luna In Caelo, Solar,
Shogun, Panico, Plan V, El Otro Yo, Suarez, Juana La Loca, la Floripondio,
Fiskales ad Hoc, among many others.
From 1995 to 2000 I did part time jobs for DG Medios doing translation
and logistical work for many rock shows such as Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath,
Kiss, Luis Miguel, Metallica, Love and Rockets, Nick Cave, Smashing Pumpkins,
Björk, The Prodigy, etc.
In the music recording field, since I have trained myself little by little I have worked on recording with local artists such as Pànico, Repudio and Santoad, also with the SF Bay Area band Exodus.
Between 1995 and 2003 I collaborated writting articles and reviews for magazines such as Electroshock, Revista IMI, Chile jazz, Musica.cl and Milkbox.cl
I got a band called e-men since 1998, little by little doing some cool things.
Since the mid of the 1990´s I have been very into learning about the subconcious mind, learning about Reiki, Hypnosis and Meditation facts. I have practiced Magick several times, somthing that is applied on daily basis through the usage of metaphisical Reiki.
From 2004 I have been booking artists and promoting shows in the Santiago de Chile area, some of the shows where I have worked are Placebo, 8MM, Lucybell, Fear Factory, Also since I am working on Centro Arte Alameda, since Sept. 2005, I have worked with most of the local chilean scene, featuring artists such as Los Mismos, Familea Miranda, Gepe, Upa!, Mauricio Redolés, Guiso, CHC, etc. Also, on the Alameda I have worked on promotion for Oxigene 8's Linda Cushma, No Longer Music(Netherlands), Guillermo Cides (Spain), Nono García (Spain), Orquesta Típica Fernandez Fierro (Arg) and independently with Misia (Portugal),U2 + Franz Ferdinand, The X Girls Show (Las Vegas, USA), also currently works with bands like Upa!, Mantekilla Digital, Operador, Combo Ginebra, among others. On past June organized the south american tour for Robin Guthrie, also during 2007 I worked on shows for La Calle de Ángela (Spain), Reis / Aldo Brizzi (Brazil, Italy), Orquesta Típica Fernandez Fierro, Holden, Oxygene8 among others.
I consider myself an easy access person, very talkative communicative, a man full of ideas and good will.
Who I'd like to meet: I would love to meet many people, many interests, basically the right people for my growing proccess. Healers, musicians, models, actors, actreses, video or movie makers, people in show biz, therapists, artists, writers, intelectuals in general. If you are either a musician or movie maker and you would like to screen your film or promote your show do not hesitate on contacting me. Also if you need an artist for your show, I am sure I can fullfill your requirements. If you are playing in Chile I can do concert photo shots for you, I have taken pictures for several acts like Ginebra, Exodus, Orbital, etc.
