Social Hazard is an alternative rock band that has no limits to its diversity, and encompasses a wide audience with its ability to effortlessly cross the threshold between genres. Your alternative to conformity, your gateway to change, and your familiar tones of experience, this band has what you’ve been searching for.
Vocalist and guitarist Blake Kincaid, brings color to a world of black and white, with raging guitar solos, and mature lyrics that bring awareness to harsh truths that real people can relate to. Being an eagle scout with an attitude, a neurobiology student, an avid politician, and a tuba player, gives him more to write about then just girls, and guns. Blake started Social Hazard with longtime friend and former bass player Jared Evans in 2003.
Drummer Brandon Keebler, brings the music to life with his vibrant original rhythms, giving the music its passionate momentum that resonates with the audience. A natural on the drums, he also extends his talent to the trumpet, guitar, musical composition, and studio recording. Brandon joined the band as a last minute replacement for the former drummer, and was so successful he became a permanent member.
Chris Bell builds the band on his presence with a solid bass line that flows with emotion, and power. A man of few words, also sings, writes songs, plays guitar, the bass clarinet, and is an excellent artist. Chris was a long time friend of Brandon’s who joined the band as the rhythm guitarist, and later replaced Jared as the bass player when he left the band in pursuit of a military career.
Irvin is a manikin head pulled from the depths of a dumpster, who later became an executive of his own independent record label. He enjoys hanging out on stage while the band is performing, and making the band merchandise often in his own likeness.
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what instrument they play, because they often switch.. From benefit concerts, to saving dogs from the road, to serving their country, this is a band that gives back what it receives. Individuality was the sun, this band would go blind, so don’t forget your sunglasses.
