Yo Social Research Projectasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Thanks a lot for the kind words :) Glad you like the new direction I've taken. We're finishing up a project we've been working on with the students of the 'Harris Institute' in Toronto. Once thats done i'm pretty sure I will begin work on a full album going more wth the electronic direction!

We finally had our Hard Rock show a few weeks ago, and opened with Slurm. I was afraid of us fucking up and selling out in equal amounts, but thankfully we managed to do both in equal amounts. It was sacrilicous.

There's certainly disappointment, but I'm not pissed off about the greed thing... To be honest, I think Mr. Reznor has enough money lying around!
It's more that he's just succumbed to laziness, or that he's realised that what he really wants is 16 year olds in Stain'd T-shirts saying, "wow, this is generic! I can get into this!" I don't think he's trying like he used to... Obviously, there's the whole "let's not bother playing in Bogotá" thing, as well :)
And Billy Corgan clearly let things slide some time ago, as his monstrous ego towers over him, telling him that HE is Smashing Pumpkins, and the others can come and go. Chamberlain kicks drum skin ass if anyone ever did, and it's really frustrating to see that he's gone once more.

Haha... well, apparently 80 bands auditioned in Hard Rock this year, most of them playing the cover versions that they thought Hard Rock wanted to hear; we played two of our own songs, and our cover of "Glory Box", and got a standing ovation from the barstaff! Opening with Slurm is definitely a good possibility ;)
And I look forward to seeing what you put together about Bogotá bands; should be interesting!
I think I'll steer clear of Mr. Reznor until he leaves the whole "NIN by numbers" thing...
