Alternative rock band Social X-Ray started in 2005, the year of the rooster, as John, a recent Chicago transplant and former guitarist for bands The Meshes and Radioslave, joined forces with Dan, who has never been to Chicago.
Despite their differences, they spent close to two years writing, recording and slowly shaping the sound that would flourish into Social X-Ray. Iz was welcomed into the band in '07 and their lives haven't been the same since. Albuquerque Evan joined up in '08 and rocked everyones socks.
The band spent the last several months writing new material for their debut CD. Social X-Ray's sound is generally a mixed alt rock bag, melodic yet muscular.
Currently, the band is recording material for its debut CD scheduled for release in '08!!!
