Society Crisis were born in the summer months of 08 and were completely unaware of how apt their name would become. Writing mostly about life and the pitfalls of love, 'Society Crisis' is more a stab at peoples personal politics and a result of a few beers. Tommy & Randii formed the outfit and after a few changes in the line up, Jack joined the ranks feb 09 and then Baz (both ex Scandal House) completed the line up Nov 09. It's fast become clear that their only aim was to deliver intelligent rock 'n' roll with big melodies to the masses, the kind of tunes that you'll like the first time and love more with each listen. The band it's self find it hard to label them selves (don't all bands say that?) but with influences from most sub genres of rock, you can expect an adrenaline fuelled rock/punk outfit with hints of metal and massive pop overtones that's hard not to stamp your feet or sing along to.
The band originally hit the road March 09 playing along side Ricky Warwick (frontman of the Almighty), replaced Kory Clarke (of Warrior Soul) and opened for Heaven Basement. August saw them play 3 shows in just 24 hours, opening Trashstock in Notts (w/ Ginger of the Wildhearts), headlined the Tower nightclub in Hull then played Skin Deep's Tattoo Jam at Doncaster Racecourse. After this the band knuckled down playing just a few shows before their tour in November 09, one of which was with Sorry and the Sinatras (Wildhearts, Trashlight Vision) who mentioned they sounded something like a cross between the Backyard Babies and Cheap Trick. Unfortunately something still wasn't clicking or feeling right 'til a last min change before the tour where it all came together. The band hit up Scotland, Wales and of course England over a four week period including supporting glam legends Rachel Stamp. Society Crisis have barely played a venue since where the Promoter or Venue owners haven't been eager to invite them back.
Previous to this the members between them selves have years of experience playing up and down the country, at festivals and with radio and magazine coverage Having shared festival stages, supports or tours with the likes of the Scorpions, Wednesday 13,, Viking Skull, Vain, Dogs d'Amour to name just a few. A wealth of knowledge, maturity, and experience later along with as much drive as ever and they are to be a force to be reckoned with that keep growing with every rehearsal and show. You can't go too far wrong adding Society Crisis to your bill or just checking them out when they're playing near you!
NOVEMBER UK TOUR It's been and gone. Thank You to all the venues, promoters, people who bought merch, put us up, out up with us or ventured out to support live music!

Fair play, like i always say you gotta be in it to win it!! Hopefully will make it on Friday, I'm supposed to be in Cardiff during the day, but hoping to be back by teatime
Thanks, but the second solo is fucking poor! I've seriously got to do something about that, it sounds like cat trampling on the fretboard... which of you three is this anyway?!
Hi Russ, have made a start on them, but my monitor decided to pack up on me the weekend, so sorting out a new one at mo. This laptop is no good for photoshop unfortunately, can't cope with it, keeps crashing!! Hopefully seeing someone tomorrow who sez they have a spare monitor I can have. If not I'm gonna have to splash out on one the weekend
