In essence, Society of Beggars are, and always will be, a band of musical brothers, drawn together because of a common belief - they believe in the power of the song and the power of the performance. This musical philosophy, combined with the influence of an ethnic upbringing and a passion for what has come before them, especially with rhythm & blues, has served to mould Society of Beggars into a distinctive and powerful voice... .. Discarding any pre-conceptions of what a rock & roll band should sound like and opting to record what felt real to them, Society of Beggars, have now completed their debut album, Exit Soul. The intent with this recording, as with their live performances, was not to hold back, to connect with and evoke something real in their audience... Exit Soul represents all that Society of Beggars are passionate about.
