Societys Parasites saw its birth in 1997. Started by brothers Jimmy (drums) and Freddy (vocals/guitar), their intentions were simple’ to start a musical project that would let them release their anger and tension through loud vocals and loud instruments. The band underwent changes in 1998 and then again in 2005, finalizing the current line up with Vince on guitar and Andy Effe on bass. Enough with the history, lets get to the fun part...
Slipping away from the more melodic/sing along style of Punk rock, Societys Parasites offer a genre that is genuine to their Punk rock roots. The sound is in your face and aimed to blow your ears away at a blazing speed. The style is fast, angry, and slips away from the basics with insane guitar licks/bends, deranged bass lines, and screaming vocals. The attitude is real, from the gang infested streets of Echo Park, Los Angeles. With influences ranging from bands and musicians like Filth, Muddy Waters, and Rancid, Societys Parasites have produced a genre that is different from the typical punk rock that is plagued with repetitive sing along songs that make you want to hug and pogo with the person standing beside you. Societys Parasites will NOT make you want to do such a thing. During the bands set you will want to take out your brass knuckles, clench your fist, and violently beat the person standing beside you. Let the mayhem begin...
Societys Parasites have recently signed a record deal with Hellcat Records and will be releasing their debut full length in spring of 2007. The cd version will contain 15 tracks, and a limited edition version will be released on vinyl that will contain an extra track and different artwork. Morphine FX is a punk band from Laval/Montreal (Quebec, Canada) influenced by The Ramones, NOFX, Rancid, The Casualties, MxPx and many other punk bands. The band has been started in 2004, but since that day things have changed a lot.
MFX recorded our first demo in july 2007 and you can listen to it in our profile.
Now, with over 40+ songs (Mostly fast punk songs), we will keep practicing to record during the summer our first EP with 8 PUNK songs called ''Dummies Invasion''.
We are punk-rockers and we only have one goal: To help keeping punk alive. Punk's not fucking dead and we're gonna help to prove it.

INTERGALLACTIC PROTEST LAUNCHED BY THE ROBOTS FROM MARS!
The Robots From Mars have launched a protest with the Beetlejuice Gaming Commission. The major issue focuses on the disadvantage that metallic robots have when playing Pong since most robots tend to light up when struck by the game ball. “But that all depends on the size of the game ball verses the size of the robot,” the Great Butbot advised, “there’s a proper ratio with these things.” Johnny Air-Guitar, “Getting struck by a ball of light is a real and constant danger…if I light up I’ll give my position away.” Rob “Rainbow” Marley, “I light up if I’m within six feet of a Pong match. I think it is a radiation thing.” “You’d light up anyway,” Johnny Air-Guitar added. “You’re always smoking.” This reporter noted that most of the beings attending the protest in the office of the Beetlejuice Gaming Commission took some of these comments by the Robots From Mars as a joke. But I’m not convinced. I never met a synthetic that had a sense of humor.
