SOCIOO

SOCIOO was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Before age 10, he had discovered his passion for music. It was then that SOCIOO decided to dedicate himself fully to his musical studies in the Conservatory of David Fory.

This is where he perfected his skills with different instruments: piano, percussion instruments, and the guitar, an instrument he fell in love with. Four years later, SOCIOO displayed his acquired skills when he was invited to go on tours to play with different groups of Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, and Rock.

After arriving in Hollywood, CA he was invited to share the stage opening shows for Pitbull, Calle 13, Zion and many other artists. This experience and exploration of different rhythms was the principal foundation for SOCIOO to establish his own style in the music industry. SOCIOO says: “I realized that I live in a world that gets smaller every day, with diverse cultures, diverse dialects, and where the communication is the essential route to mix these lives with these cultures, to get to the bottom of them, I have to know the reality of those rhythms and learn to express myself with different styles.

Music is the universal language that breaks across the borders and touches the feelings of every individual” After finishing his studies in Venezuela and receiving a degree in Sound Engineering, SOCIOO moved to the city of entertainment, Hollywood, where naturally decided to fuse his African Caribbean rhythm with the lifestyle of Hip-Hop.

After writing and composing more than 30 unpublished songs, a new chapter opens in the life of SOCIOO; It begins now by starting his successful career, and dedicating his life to the world of the entertainment and to his passion for the Music. In 2009, SOCIOO will release his first LP release, “QUIEN DIJO QUE NO”, under the independent label, Cacique Records.
