Sen. Spektor is indeed "one who thinks" as opposed to the 79 senators who are not. I can't think of 21 senators who do, but I hope they exists. ( Ok let's try Clinton thinks, Obama pretends too, Hegel thinks, Biden thinks, Reed pretends to, oh screw it).
That having been said, the open hostility to the ability to use federal power to make the lives of ordinary Americans better is why I do not vote Republican.
