I wanted to see Albert Cummings last wknd at the Iron Horse, but the snow storm found me working instead. I hate snow, but it looks great in the paycheck the following week.
Cummings was at Black-Eyed Sally's in Hartford the 13th (my birthday) and I was hoping to check him out there and then, but my sister had a gathering of friends at her house to celebrate my b'day and that ended my plans. I've yet to see the guy, and I've heard nothing but good things about him.
Have you been to B-E Sally's? Nice place for music if you get there early enough to get a seat in the music room. I'm getting too old to stand all evening. Yeah, let's get together for some tunes in the new year.
