Fluoride is any combination of elements containing the fluoride ion. Sodium fluoride is a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum and phosphate fertilizer.It is commonly found in toothpaste, dental supplies, and tap water. It is the most chemically active nonmetallic element of any element and also is the most reactive electro-negative ion. Since 1945, when fluoride was first put into the municipal water system in Newburgh, New York, 75% of the United States water supply has been fluoridated.

Fluoride is also the leading cause of Fluorosis (makes sense). Dental fluorosis is a condition caused by an excessive intake of fluorides, it ruins your teeth. Skeletal Fluorosis is when you become Crippled due to the fact that Fluoride causes you to excrete calcium from your body like waste and deteriorates your bones.
Fluoride is a known cause for over 250 major illnesses and Diseases as well as causes multiple forms of cancer.
THE TRUTH AND HISTORY:
The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water on Earth was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps. The Gestapo had little concern about fluoride's supposed effect on children's teeth; their alleged reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to sterilize humans and force the people in their concentration camps into calm submission. Hello! Thanks for your space. This is very helpful. I believe I may suffer from flouride poisoning. It was forced on us in the town I grew up in by the school system(repeatedly for years), and the water supply(daily for my whole life practically). I have 2 questions that I hope someone here can help me with: Where can I find a list of cities/towns that DO NOT flouridate the water supply? Is there a way to filter flouride from my water at home? Thanks.
This is very scary and explains a lot about my daughters teeth. I bought the fluoridated water (which is marketed specifically to babies) for her when she was a baby and she started using fluoride toothpaste when she was 2. She had 2 cavities and one tooth that chipped and partially rotted by the time she was 3. Her teeth are discolored which is classic of fluorosis. It makes me sad because I thought I was doing the best for her. It's very scary, what is the best way to protect yourself? Is a reverse osmosis water system the best? Do you need to add anything back to the water? Is it better than nothing if I can only afford the system to take the floride out of the drinking water for now?

Reverse Osmosis filtering is the most common way to remove 98% of the fluoride and anything else in the water.
However it is filtered so much with RO that for drinking pourposes this water should be remineralized with true natural sea salt (1/4-1/2 tsp/gal), or equivilant remineralizer. This avoids problems associated with distilled water, like leaching of minerals from the body.
"Doulton USA" and maybe "Berkey" offer models with Fluoride reduction ability just check the model. These filteres allow the natural minerals to remain in the water too
