Influences
Acoustic, traditional appalachian, oldtime, folk, bluegrass. We learn best from our friends and neighbors -- this music has been passed on orally for generations; that's as sustainable as you get!
Sounds Like
acoustic music! traditional oldtime, folk, bluegrass, with the occasional oddity thrown in for good measure
We are an acoustic band based in Boone, North Carolina. We play mostly bluegrass and old time, with some reggae, blues, and folk tunes thrown in for fun. We are also graduates of the Appropriate Technology program at ASU. We love all kinds of renewable energy and we travel with a Solar-Powered Sound System, a.k.a. the PV/PA.
Thanks for adding Rambles. NET to your friends' list!

Be sure to see PAUL SPRAWL in Charlotte this Saturday night!
When Paul appeared here last year people were giggling in disbelief. You could hear jaws coming unhinged and hitting the floor and people gasping for air.
Paul is the most interesting, dynamic and exciting guitar player I've ever seen in my entire life. Come see if you think so, as well.
He will perform at Patchwerk Playhaus inside Century Vintage, 1508 Central Ave. in Midwood. This Saturday Sept 22 at 8pm.
This is a really cool listening room like nothing else in Charlotte. All seating is on couches and fluffy armchairs. BYOB. No smoking inside.
