LONDON SOFA, un groupe tout jeune mais au pedigree déjà bien établi :
ses 5 membres faisaient partie des formations pop-rock les plus en vue de la région messine (plus de 500 concerts, premières parties de Divine Comedy, Doves, Big Soul, Wedding Present, Nada Surf,etc.).
Début 2006, ils décident de se réunir et de confronter leurs idées musicales. Rapidement, le groupe se crée un répertoire complètement original, inspiration puisée dans les veines de ce pop rock matiné de rock anglais qui les séduit toujours autant.
Guillaume, Christophe, Mickey, Matthieu et Phil additionnent leurs expériences pour faire bonifier leurs compositions : trois guitares, chants à 2 ou 3 voix, samples. Les LONDON SOFA combinent ce qu'ils ont retenu de
mieux de leurs artistes préférés pour créer leur son, leur monde, leur
émotion et bientôt la vôtre.

LONDON SOFA, a young band with a rich experience : its 5 members were part of the foremost pop-rock bands of the Lorraine (North-East of France) region (more than 500 concerts, gigs with Divine Comedy, Doves, Big Soul, Wedding Present, Nada Surf, etc.).
At the beginning of 2006, they decided to meet and to share their musical ideas.
Quickly, the group creates new original stuff, drawing their inspiration from rock and typical brit pop. Guillaume, Christophe, Mickey, Matthieu and Phil add their experiences to embellish their melodies: three guitars, 2 or 3 vocals, samples.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.

at least the coming out of FLAMEN's track "Antonelli rules" on Habité records(FR), Dandelion radio (London) said the best during his program. this is electro, house, minimal, you can listen and download, what do you need more?? available on i-tunes.

Avec leur album French F**ckers porté en étendard, les cinq Français de Blackpool semblent lancer à tous les groupes brit-pop de tout poil un "à nous deux" crânement gonflé. Et pourtant, le défi est bel et bien relevé avec ce que l'on est forcé d'appeler un feu d'artifice de tubes efficaces donnant envie d'aller fêter le rock sur les dancefloors. Le groupe restitue l'esprit Madchester des Happy Mondays mais assorti de références périphériques (Pavement, la musique électronique) qui font tout le sel de la musique de Blackpool. Rock on !
