Sofa Sessions host regular open mic night's in various venues accross the south east, we also fully arrange and set up live music events and offer PA hire

Rules of engagement

1. Names are taken from 8pm at The Hope and 8.30pm at The Hub

2. Everyone gets a 3 song allowance, however if your songs are very long and it is busy we may have to limit you to 2

3. If you are very late we cannot guarantee a slot although we do our very best to fit everyone in!

4. If you put your name down for a slot and are not present for your time you will lose it and have to wait for the next available time

The Hope (located in Brighton town centre, 5 minutes on foot down the hill from Brighton station, on the right hand side of the road) Already renowned for live music the open mic night is every Monday and the venue is kindly offering happy hour all night for performers. The Hub106 Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 3QA

OPEN MIC Night every THURSDAY from 8.30pm

The Hub is situated on Lewes Road opposite Sainsbury’s and next to the 24hour garage/M&S (perfect for after pub snacks!!). The Hub has a huge expanse of beer garden, pizzas and pub food and is perfectly shaped for live music events. For a map of where to find it click here

We have so many great musicians from week to week and so we thought it would be nice for the people checking out our page for the first time to hear some of the songs that we are treated to hearing live on our nights. Makes sense really!
