Den 27e augusti släpper jag min tredje skiva "Jonestown". Som ett smakprov på låtarna från skivan har jag samlat 12 av mina svenska favoritartister och låtit dem tolka låtarna live med mig. En gång i veckan kommer Du att kunna se en ny video med en ny låt från "Jonestown" och en ny gästartist.
Du kommer att få möta musiker från Sveriges artistelit såväl som up-and-coming stjärnor, och när alla videos släppts kommer vi att köra en tävling där du har möjlighet att vinna ett härligt cd-paket med 13 cd-skivor, en från varje gästartist, och min nya skiva "Jonestown". The 27th of August, I'm releasing my third album "Jonestown". To give you a preview of the songs from the album I have gathered 12 of my favorite Swedish artists who will each perform one song from the album live with me on tape. Once a week a new video is released, with a new song and a new guest artist. You will get the opportunity to meet well known artists as well as up and coming new stars, and when the videos are all released we'll turn it into a competition where you can win a set of 13 albums, one from each guest artist, and of course my new album "Jonestown".

“It’s just love, how hard can it be ...”
So sings Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Talvik on her single
‘It’s Just Love’ a duet with one of the UKs top indie icons of the last 15 years - Bernard Butler - ‘It’s Just Love’ evokes memories of the last great ‘triumph over adversity’ duet; ‘Don’t Give Up’ by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush. Sofia’s soft, delicate, almost fragile vocals soar over a powerful piano melody punctuated by soft percussion, gentle strings and the rarely heard resonance of an acoustic double bass.
‘It’s Just Love’ is taken from Sofia’s second album ‘Street of Dreams’. Written and produced entirely by Sofia herself, the album was released in January 2007 through Makaki Music.
Her debut album ‘Blue Moon’ was released in 2005 to high critical acclaim and quickly established Sofia as one of Swedens most promising young singer/songwriters.

With her debut album "Blue Moon", Sofia Talvik has added her name to Sweden's amazing list of top-rate singer-songwriters. After releasing a couple of demos and appearing on as many compilations, Sofia is at last ready to meet the demands of the fans she has amassed already.
Singles "Ghosts" and "Stop" show how Sofia - together with her backing band The Tallboys - has an inspiring sound to her voice and a unfailing sense of melody. She's also not afraid to experiment, as the excellent Sophie Rimheden mix of her song "Beautiful Naked" shows.
