Show, music and acting influence and shape Sofia’s life and that since childhood. Born in Germany raised within a Greek family and currently residing in Los Angeles. She signed her first production deal at the age of thirteen and later on signed to Def Jam Germany with her group “danacee”. Danacee toured with “Die Fantastischen Vier”, sang with “DJ Thomilla” and supported “Destiny’s Child” and US-Superstar “Usher” on his 87/01 Tour just to name a few. The group was part of the project “Hip Hop meets World” with MC Lyte and rai-singer Khaled ,sang on remixes of international artists such as “Bounty Killer” and shared the stage with UK artist “Jamelia”, “Montell Jordan” and “Mya”. Sofia has performed for numerous companies such as LG Electronics and was involved in youth drug prevention programs in the form of dance instruction. She has tought dance classes all over the world from North America to Europe and Australia and has worked worked with Chicago based urban dance company Dance2XS. In 2005 Sofia was cast as a guest lead for the RTL/Action Concept TV Series “Wilde Engel”, starred in a Claude Brooks production for Discovery Kids Channel and was one of the principal talents in a Kswiss shoe commercial. Sofia co-choreographed Avril Lavigne’s video“Girlfriend”(most viewed video on youtube) and later on was hired to co-choreograph, sing and dance on her World Tour that was directed by mastermind Jamie King. Sofia has worked with Fall Out Boy, Will.I.Am, Butch Walker ,The Von Bondies,Tommy Lee and Nelly Furtado just to name a few and appeared on TV and award shows such as MTV Latin Awards, MTV European Music Awards, NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Jay Leno, Teen Choice Awards, Much Music Awards,VH1Fashon Rocks,David Letterman, TV Total and many more. She’s currently touring the world as back up singer for the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears on her “Circus 2009 World Tour”. ..
