About me:
Hey Kansas City Softball Fans! This September 20th at Olathe Northwest High School join Jessica Moppin and a highly qualified team of instructors for a hitting, baserunning and fielding camp. Our objective is not only to teach the tools necessary to take a young softball player to the next level, but to share what incredible opportunities softball can have for those determined enough to make it to the collegiate and professional levels.

Take this opportunity to expand your softball knowledge for the fall season and to learn valuable drills for the winter months to come. Camp instructors include a seasoned cast of former collegiate standouts: Christy Musser of the University of Kansas (now the assistant coach at KU), Courtney Totte of Oklahoma State University, Rachel McGinnis Millsap of the University of Missouri (also played professionally for the New England Riptide), Bree Beattie of Emporia State University and Jessica Moppin of the University of Kansas (also played professionally for the Russian National Team).

Camp will feature breakdowns of hitting, baserunning, outfield, infield and catching. During the final hour of camp there will be a Q&A sitting with topics like the recruiting process, instructor’s experiences and the mental aspects of the game. Note there will be no pitching instruction.

There will be two, four hour sessions:

Session 1: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., ages from 8 to 12
(Check-in starting at 7 a.m.)

Session 2: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., ages from 13 to 18
(Check-in starting at 12 p.m.)

All skill levels are encouraged to participate!
