Sounds Like
You could say it's dark but dancy electronica or you could go for light hearted experimental industrial. Soiled is inhabiting that difficult to pin down area and making it his own.
- Tasty Fanzine
SOILED's DNA channel to the paradise apparatus of the human body pill cruel emulator surrender-site of the living body junk feeling replicant where turned on the ill-treatment of a chemical anthropoid corpse feti streaming of the soul/gram made of retro-ADAM - Kenji Siratori
If you like your musicians, young, into pretty retro bunnymen guitars forget it. He's the electronic experimental equivalent of SEASICK STEVE, only slightly younger
- Alan Pooley

Who and what is Soiled? From Temple Meads to Darlington Train Station then Beyond
Soiled comes from the brain of Marcus H
"Not part of the Teesside local scene, or in fact any UK scene. A sub sect on his own and probably best kept that way. Hermit could describe the present state.
" I can't carry off pretentious seriousness arty very well. I have no bearded. Take myself too seriously..nah, especially as I have teeth for radio and way past my sell by date. Can't class myself as electronic, perhaps wayward Schizophrenic music based around the wierd cul de sac of life. TAKE THE TITLE, LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND YOU MAKE THE STORY
Over the past 6 years, cdr's, music files and cds have been produced and sent out. Here's a brief update biog......2003 Order of reverse private release very rare four track...infact so rare it was never released. Sent it to a few Stations and it got featured in Future Music demos. 2004, Mindnumb E.p got played on BBC 6 Freakzone. In 2005 came the Happyland e.p, developed the Soiled sound of noisy electronics and dirty Beats further and as one reviewer pasted, 'throwing a musical monkeywrench into the work'. Track 2 "One line in Fishponds' founds its way onto Huw Stephen's show on Radio 1. Nil by Visual in 2006, which got reviews and plays in the USA, Taiwan, Russia, highlights included Nil by Visual and Toytown Stunt team Council
In 2007 Shambolic Psychotic was released onto the public. The Organic Eletronica version of Seasick Steve. Has found new fans on US college Radio and new reviews in Europe and beyond.
2009 Slothmotion 8 Track
Review, review edit::::::
He processes old TV samples and gnarly Grunge loops, and sounds like he's prepared to get his fingernails grubby in the process. Synths fly about the mix like bluebottles, and there is a general air of ambient terrain subject to heavy showers of old junk. All quite refreshing really, in its reversion to long neglected tactics - David Stubbs - Shambolic Psychotic 2007/08
