SO I SIN are an Austrian death/thrash metal band which was founded in late October 2005. They recorded their first demo-CD in May 2006 at the Serakos studio in Warsaw, Poland. With this 3-track CD SO I SIN got tremendous reviews and critics in the international press, concerts in Austria and abroad and last but not least, their two guitarist could sign an endorsementdeal with the guys at LABOGA Amplifiers who are endorsing such bands like Annihilator (usa), Behemoth (pol), Illdisposed (dan) and Dagoba (fra).
Just nine months later, in February 2007, they, again, entered a studio (at this time the PinkNoise studio in Kirchschlag/Austria, were the Austrian Hardcore heroes from Sense Of Justice recorded their latest albums) to thrash in 4 formidable songs for their first EP called “Craving For Desire”.
SO I SIN started to write the material in summer 2006 and it was a hard decision to chose only 4 tracks to be on this record, but after all this was the best thing they could do. The cover of this EP was made by the polish artist Wojtek Blasiak who did covers for such bands like Moonspell and Venom. This 4-track Mini-CD (EP) is written, produced and released by SO I SIN.
With “Craving For Desire” SO I SIN once more could gain some fine shows along with international bands like Hatesphere, Rage, 3 Inches Of Blood, All Shall Perish, Pro Pain, Hollenthon, Debauchery, Born From Pain, and many more.
In Summer 2008 their bassplayer Roland left and Ralph joined and reinforced the band. With this new line up SO I SIN did a few shows in 2009, but mostly the band is writing on new material, which they look forward to release in early 2010.
