Sojourn is a Christian band that has been together for about five years. We are a band that appreciates the finer qualities of music from the sixties and seventies and we incorporate it into our music. We play the atypical hit parade worship music that most people sing on Sunday mornings at church or sing along with in their car. Bob, Faith and Sam write songs which we include in our performances and Sunday worship. We like to jam and mix it up and have fun.
Sam and Faith are gifted in teaching. From time to time they will share gleanings from the bible and from their own experiences, in the victories as well as failures in the pursuit of Godliness.
Sojourn has played many concerts of praise and have lead worship at churches throughout Wisconsin. We are always up for a road trip to anywhere we can be a blessing. We've been blessed to play at Critical Mass, a summer Christian festival in Portage WI, the last three years. We also have played at the Columbia County Correctional Institute. It’s a treat to share music, testimonies and teaching from the word with the inmates and guards.
We recently have recorded a CD that features some of our original music as well as songs you may be familiar with.
We hope the providence of God brings us opportunities to play out more. We love to make a joyful noise and sing about the hope we have in Christ and God’s love.
We are rich and even more so with spouses and children who let us play out as
much as we do. A big thank you to the people who continue to support us and encourage us. It is always a blessing to have you remain a big part of our ministry.
Mama always told you to sit still and be quiet in church. But let’s stand up,
shout, and make a joyful noise in our devotion and worship to God.

The most precious gift you will ever receive; is a prayer from someone who in Jesus believes, it's not wrapped with ribbons or bows, and few people hear and few people know. But it's written in the Chronicles of Heaven. Each prayer muttered is a special gift given. And yes I said a prayer for you tonight, For you to be calmed from all your fright. For healing, and for you to learn of God's ways. And be able to look up to him and give him honor and praise. I can't see your face and barely know who you are; But I know one thing, each muttered prayer will go so very far. Oh my sisters and brothers in Christ; Each prayer you whisper is the greatest gift you will find. It comes from the love of a pure heart; That will last forever and never depart. Someday we will all meet face to face. We will be able to give such a warm embrace; As the kingdom of heaven allows us to share; In person what we can only do in prayer.T he most precious gift you will give, Is a prayer,a sweet smelling fragrance so others can live. By laying down your life in such a simple way, Gives more to another than any gift will ever convey. Oh prayer,no it does not have ribbons and bows; It costs us our time, and our love that we share!
