Sök comienza su andadura en el verano del 99 pero no completa su formación hasta un año mas tarde quedando completada en formación de quinteto. Ibai (batería), Onix (bajo), Iker (guitarra), Iosu (guitarra) y Juan (voz).
Durante estos 9 años han realizado mas de cien conciertos por todo el estado; Barcelona, Madrid, Canarias, Murcia, Galicia… en el año 2003 autoeditaron su maqueta que contenía 6 temas. Su siguiente trabajo no vería la luz hasta tres años mas tarde “13 Mantracks” (GOR 2006). Producido, grabado y mezclado por Iñaki Llarena y masterizado por Black Blackwood en Memphis (Tennesse).Tras la grabación de este disco la formación sufre un cambio entrando Ubaldo a tocar el bajo.
Durante finales del año pasado y principios de este han grabado los que serán los temas de su próximo disco “El club de los no elegidos” de la mano de Iñaki Llarena. El material grabado mantiene las raíces y matices del anterior disco de Sök pero con una clara esencia más directa y visceral. Viejos y nuevos sonidos rockeros que saldrán a la calle en marzo del 2008.

Sök began their journey in summer of 1999. During the last 8 years they have achieved success in several musical contests: First award at the Arrosadia/Gor Demo Contest 2002, Public’s Award at the Young Performer’s Meeting of the Government of Navarra 2003 and the 2nd award in 2004. The band has also been finalist at the Euskadi Gaztea Awards and “Sleeping Beauty” Awards.
They have played more than 150 concerts all around Spain: Barcelona, Madrid, Canary Islands, Murcia, Asturias, Cantabria, Valencia, Galicia… sharing scenario with bands like Sôber, Kannon, Berri Txarrak, Su ta Gar, Sorkun, Flitter, Kaotiko, Terroristars…
It was 2003 when their first job hit the street, a demo containing 6 songs. A year later, one of these songs was included in the LPH & Friends Compilation, released by Zero Records.
“13 Mantracks” was the name of the first album of Sök, (GOR 2006). The production and recording of the album was done by Iñaki Llanera, and mixed by Black Blackwood in Memphis (Tennesse). After the recording of the album, the bass player Ubaldo joins the band. Sök starts a new tour with renewed energy, looking forward to reaching a new audience.
