Father, "Cody" Sokolski, began his rock career in New York City and played in the semi-legendary bands: Falcon Eddy and Cody Lee and the Walk. He also played with the Dictators and members of, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, as well as, Micheal Monroe of Hanoi Rocks. Though he has appeared on MTV his personal highlight was when Little Steven announced to all who present in the room, "This guy is real Rock n' Roll!" He has appeared at venues such as: CBGB and Max's Kansas City. For the last ten years he has played over 600 gigs with a biker approved and road tested Delta Kings. He has is thrilled to be making music at last with his son Nate Sokolski.
Son Nate, started playing drums at age 4 under the direction of Ian Shepperd, as far as being a musician, Nate never really had a choice with an acclaimed music journalist mother M. S. Dodds. And a home that radiates the joy of music. In his short career Nate has performed in New York City, Chicago, Disneyworld and Fox TV. He has just concluded a 3 year stint with the nationally recognized Edison Middle School Jazz Band. Currently he plays with 4 bands at Central High School.
In addition, Nate has recieved numerous awards and 3 scholarships. Nate is also happy to be making music with his father Jon "Cody" Sokolski.
