Solacy were originally formed in 2002 under the name *.* (star-dot-star). The formative years of solacy saw bass players, vocalists and drummers come and go,
some jumped others were pushed…
In 2007 solacy achieved their current and finest line up. Former members of prominent Edinburgh bands “Blunt”, "Mute Media" and “Out by Degrees” yielded Steve Taylor (bass), Ryan McSwiggan (drums) and Andrew Callis (vocals) respectively.
Solacy has an ever increasing number of original songs, three of which can be heard on our previous demo (recorded with our previous drummer). This set has so far been gigged to audiences in Edinburgh, Kircaldy and Bathgate but our local success has yielded support with Skindred and i-def-i.
An amazing supporting lineup, full Bombskare set then DJs till 3am. And the album will be onsale, of course... Tickets now available from Ripping Records (Edinburgh) and Tickets Scotland (Edinburgh/Glasgow). £7 in advance.
