MATTHEW HERBERT Matthew has released his own material as Matthew Herbert Big Band, Herbert, Doctor Rockit, Wishmountain and Radio Boy and is the owner of Accidental Records. KIERAN HEBDEN (FOUR TET) Kieran is currently touring as Four Tet and has completed a new Four Tet album due for release on Domino early next year. LOUIS LA ROCHE Louis La Roche release his debut EP ‘Me & Her’ earlier in the year on his own label Ever After. It gained airplay from Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Kissy Sell Out and Jaymo & Andy George on Radio1, and led to remix work for artists including Boy Crisis, Del Marquis, Don Diablo, VV Brown and Team Waterpolo. JOSEPHINE ONIYAMA Since opening the Liverpool Proms in 2000 Josephine has since played shows all over the UK including supports with The Noisettes, Johnny Flynn and The Invisible. She recorded her first demos with Elbow's Guy Garvey and released her first EP entitled ‘In The Labyrinth’, recorded by producer Ben Hillier, in December 2008. JIMMY SOMMERVILLE Inspired and recorded in Australia Jimmy’s forthcoming album ‘Suddenly Last Summer’ is due for release in early 2009. Jimmy performed three exclusive shows in Sydney and Melbourne in Australia in elaborate theatres, featuring an acoustic set as well as his more well known high-energy dance set, the finale featuring a huge choir. Compered by Bob Downe both shows were a huge success. Other releases have included the track ‘Tell Me Why’ by Supermode, albeit not a direct release from Jimmy, was based upon ‘Small Town Boy’ and ‘Why’ and was released to an incredible response. A-listed at Radio 1 and staying in the UK top 40 for weeks on end it became one of the songs of the summer. Once again not a direct release from Jimmy, a new track ‘You & Me’ by ‘Blue Ray’ has also just emerged which combines 'Why' with the azoo track 'Situation'. Leo released his third album ‘The Unrest Cure’ on David Holmes’ label Canderblinks through Mercury Records last year. Kish Mauve are signed to Sony/ATV and released their debut single ‘Modern Love’ and ‘Two Hearts’ EP on Sunday Best Recordings. Lush Americana pop with layers of lazy latin rhythms, lap steel and a gentle country twang from Berlins Vera Bohl - a bit Spaghetti Western and a little Nico meets Nancy Sinatra going organic and making mischief in Nashville. Vera won the Hospital Club Creatives in Residence Award for music last year and has been developing her sound and image under the guidance of the programme since then.
